They don’t taste quite as scones should, but they’re still quite tasty and considering that I kind of winged it and improvised because I didn’t have all the ingredients… I’m rather happy with how they turned out.

This made me think about how much the internet has become part of our identity. Just look at facebook, myspace, but also at blogs like this one.

Today, I’d like to recommend thxthxthx, a blog full of thank you notes. It’s funny, at times pointless and at times bittersweet, always touching and always inspiring. There’s so much to be thankful for.

Why? Because it offered free cocktails on the introduction day for the first years and no one checked if we were all really first years – or even law students, in case of my boyfriend.

It was the last week of holidays for me and I’m looking forward to university starting again tomorrow. I hope everyone’s looking forward to the upcoming week as much as I am.
I love books and while I’m not exactly a church-goer, there’s one church in Maastricht (Netherlands) that I’m quite regularly drawn to. Guess why?
I love that they turned this church into a book store. It has lots of law books and a lovely café at the back which makes me love it, but really, it’s worth visiting just for the looks of it.
